Major Arcana cards:XX Judgement

Resurrection, Awakening, Knowing the Outcome

Card Interpretation

The card depicts an angel blowing a trumpet, granting salvation to all the deceased who hear its sound. The angel’s trumpet can awaken the emotions of every soul—even sinners who have repented are granted hope of ascending to heaven. The trumpet’s call symbolizes the death of old beliefs; people are embracing a new world, summoned by its melody. When interpreting this card, focus on the ideas of resolution and restoration. You are also consolidating the lessons of the past, discarding mistakes while preserving valuable knowledge. As the new world unfolds, you will discover you are not alone—many companions will walk this path of learning with you. Though strangers at first, the angels of the sacred realm will bind you together in mutual aid, filling your lives with greater joy.

The angel sounds the trumpet, proclaiming the divine gospel. To the stirring, rousing blasts, souls that have long slumbered step forth from the tombs of their own hearts—or rather, from the prisons of their inner doubts. They stand beneath the angel’s wings, listening reverently to the divine message with hearts full of gratitude. Judgment is the second-to-last card of the Major Arcana; it serves as a review and introspection of the life journey depicted in the first twenty cards. Before transcending to the ultimate realm of self-awareness, one must reflect on the past, conduct a thorough self-examination, acknowledge and cleanse past wrongdoings, and reaffirm one’s core values—only then can one finally step through the gates of success.

Upright Position

When drawn upright, the card signifies: Joy of resurrection, recovery from illness, honesty and confession, good news, good fortune, emerging talent, rekindled love, reunion, and miracles of love. In your career, you have surpassed your former self, achieving success built on the foundation of past efforts. Emotionally, both you and your partner are engaged in earnest learning and growth; while outward changes may be subtle, the internal transformations have been profound.

Reversed Position

When drawn reversed, the card signifies: Spiraling into despair, disillusionment, concealment, bad news, indecision, lack of purpose, stagnation, elimination, and lingering attachment to the past. In your career, you lack clear judgment, attempting to fill the void of your spirit with material possessions. Emotionally, you dwell endlessly on the sweet memories of the past, refusing to face the problems before you. Your relationship has become a hollow shell—though you remain together in appearance, your hearts have drifted far apart.
